This Privacy Policy explains how LoupeReel (“LoupeReel”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email you choose to share (which may be a private relay address).
• Your content. The videos you upload and the clips, captions, narration, and edits generated from them. We process this content to deliver the Service.
• Support communications. Messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data. Basic analytics about how the Service is used (pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type), used to operate and improve the Service.
• Log data. Standard server logs including IP address and timestamps.

Processing on your device

In the mobile app, speech-to-caption transcription runs on your deviceusing Apple’s on-device speech recognition; the audio is not sent to us for that purpose. The app requests permission to add finished clips to your photo library only when you choose to save a clip, and does not read your existing photos.

Payments

Purchases made in the mobile app are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase, and purchases made on the web are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the credits it grants.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Process your videos into clips, captions, and narration, including via the AI providers described below.
• Deliver purchased credits and maintain your balance.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Service providers we share data with

We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf, under contract, only to provide the Service:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage of your account and content.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly usage analytics.
• Fly.io — the video-processing worker infrastructure.
• AI providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) — to analyze your video and generate clip selections, captions, and narration text.
• Voice/narration providers — to synthesize narration audio when you request it.
• Apple and Stripe — payment processing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded content to train our own advertising profiles.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the mobile app. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated data, including your jobs, clips, and remaining credits. You may also request deletion by contacting us at loreandlag@gmail.com. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at loreandlag@gmail.com.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
